or maybe just dumb. anywhoo, here’s my question:
what is it with the rabid partisanship battles going on in the blogosphere between the respective supporters of senators pepsi & coke?
i mean – i get all the reasons why you’d choose one or the other.
i just don’t get all the passion – the name-calling – the intensity. blog against blog, brother against brother, sister against sister, roommate against roommate, cat against dog, etc. against etc.
file me under: waiting for my Dumbledore’s Army coin to heat up. [yes - one can actually find useful iconography of anarchist subversion in children's fiction.] [UPDATE: ironic i should use this imagery considering the debate going on over at Amp's place regarding JK Rowling's current © battles.]

i see the same thing in some mailing lists i’m on — and this is infighting between people who are all supporting the same senator, mind you — and i’m thinking, wow, i am witnessing a total cliché, look at these people clawing each other’s eyes out. again.
clichés don’t become clichés for no reason.
(oh. hi! i don’t check my feed reader often enough.)

I’m bewildered by it as well. I prefer Obama, for reasons I’ve posted about, but it’s really not a big deal. They are far more alike than different.

Because Hillary is a covert Nazi She-Wolf and Obama is the Coming of the Messiah.
