I must admit that you have painted this post with such broad strokes that I am not sure that I know what you are talking about…

i am the sort of person who views the atrocities committed abroad by our government, the hatred and intolerance practiced daily by our citizenry, the general loss of our freedoms to totalitarianism, the growth of the prison-industrial complex, etc. – and i take these things personally. in what ways have we acquiesced? in what ways have we truly resisted? and in what ways is this external drama being played out in our own lives – where have our own moral bearings slipped? and how do we truly, practically collectivize amidst all this error? and i mean collectivize for action, not just sitting around jawing about it.
does that paint it any finer? it probably doesn’t. :/
